Luch is a brand of watches manufactured at the Minsk Watch Plant. They make inexpensive mechanical and quartz watches for men, women and kids. Most of their watches are made for the domestic market.

I have a oval gold Luch ladies watch with beautiful semi precious stones in the strap. Someone gave it to me and I think it is the most beautiful watch I have ever seen because of its old fashioned look. This watch have the number 341 stamped on the back. Presently it is losing time and I need for it to be serviced I had a Luch 23858 watch and it was stolen by a baggage handler on a recent trip. Can anyone tell me where I can find another like it? That's funny, because "small, thin and plain" is just how I like my watches. My brother got me two Luzh quartz watches in 1990 when he came from Voronezh, Russia. Amazingly, they lasted at 10 years without a battery change. I used to wear them in New Delhi, India, in the extreme heat and extreme cold. I used to proudly say I got them from Russia. I have no idea where those watches are now. Perhaps I got tired of wearing them but later this year I plan to go through the store room to find them. Can anyone tell me if they are water resistant? If I wear it washing dishes or swimming in the pool, will it still work? Thanks!
